The louvres gather in a stacking area. The clear percentage depends on projection and configuration: the structure and louvre stack still occupy space.

The louvres cover the planned opening. Drainage and junctions are specified for the project.
- Motorised retraction
The system described uses Somfy io, with concealed fixings, wiring and motor. Additional sensors and automation are specified in the proposal.
- Open area and stacking area
The diagram shows the roof extended and the louvres retracted. The usable opening and stacking space are specified for your installation.

Choose according to what you want from the roof: adjust daylight or uncover part of the terrace.
Adjustable: tilt the louvres
- The louvres remain distributed across the roof.
- Tilt the louvres up to 120° to adjust daylight.
- Suitable when you want adjustable shade with ventilation.
Retractable: gather the louvres
- Opens up to 75%, depending on projection.
- A space is needed for the stacked louvres.
- Suitable when you want to alternate between cover and open sky.
Options to complete your pergola

LED lighting
The specification allows integrated LED lighting. Position and control are defined in the proposal.
Polyurethane-filled louvres
Polyurethane filling can be incorporated into the louvres. It is an option and does not, by itself, establish a particular thermal or acoustic performance.
Smart controls and automation
Ask about compatible control and automation options. A motor and rain sensor are different components; sensors must be expressly listed in the proposal.
We also review colours and finishes to integrate the pergola with the façade and existing features.

Roof and side panels are planned together
The specification lists these three side enclosure options. Their integration is planned around the dimensions, supports and junctions of your pergola.
Glass curtains
We can assess side panels that are folding or sliding without vertical profiles. We check supports, junctions and ventilation.
Vertical screen
An option for solar protection at the sides. We assess dimensions, exposure and compatibility for your space. Ask about screens.
Motorised windbreak
An alternative for side protection, assessed together with the structure and intended use. Assess this option.
A side enclosure does not, by itself, turn the space into a thermally insulated room. Request an assessment of the complete solution.

Questions about retractable pergolas
How much of the roof opens?
Up to 75%, depending on projection and configuration. The louvres gather in a stacking area and the structure remains. The clear area is confirmed for your project.
Do retractable louvres also rotate up to 120°?
That figure applies to the adjustable louvre pergola. The retractable system specification describes the louvres gathering; we do not apply the same rotation range to it.
What are the maximum dimensions?
The specification states a maximum width of 9 m and a maximum projection of 7 m. Dimensions and their combination are checked against the layout, supports and installation. Request a measuring visit for your space.
Which motor is used, and does the roof close automatically in rain?
The system described uses Somfy io, with concealed motor, wiring and fixings. Rain automation requires a compatible device expressly included in the proposal; a motor and sensor are not the same thing.
How is water drained?
The roof includes rainwater drainage. We check the closed position, junctions and water discharge; rain can enter when the roof is retracted.
Which options can I add?
The specification lists LEDs, polyurethane-filled louvres, smart controls and solar protection. We can also assess folding side panels, sliding, screens or windbreaks. The items you order are detailed in the quotation.
How is the mechanism maintained?
Keep tracks, travel paths and drains free of leaves and dirt, and follow the installation instructions. Do not force a jammed mechanism or stand on the louvres. Wind and snow operating conditions are specified for the system.
