Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies https://cuadrovidrio.es uses, what they are for and how you can manage them. It is published in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It allows the site to remember information about your visit — such as your chosen language — and to gather statistics about how the site is used. Alongside cookies we use equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage, to which this same policy applies.

2. Types of cookie by purpose

  • Strictly necessary: essential for the site to work. These do not require consent.
  • Preference: remember user choices, such as the browsing language.
  • Analytics: allow us to measure and analyse how the site is used so we can improve it. These require consent.

This site does not use advertising or commercial targeting cookies, and does not share your data with advertising networks.

3. Cookies used on this site

Cookie Set by Purpose Type Lifetime
pll_language cuadrovidrio.es (Polylang) Remembers the language you chose — Spanish or English — so the right version of each page is served. Preference 1 year

4. Third-party services

The analytics cookies are set by services outside CuadroVidrio, which act as controllers or joint controllers of the data they collect:

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DZ4T8B57Y2) and Google Tag Manager (container GTM-T5D8TM8J), provided by Google Ireland Limited. They show us how many people visit the site, on what devices and which pages they read. See Google’s privacy policies.
  • Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. It records in aggregate form how people interact with the pages — scrolling and clicks — so that usability problems can be spotted. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

The site also loads content held on third-party servers which, although they do not set their own cookies on every page, do receive your IP address when that content is displayed:

  • Google Fonts: the typefaces used on the site.
  • Trustindex: the widget that displays the company’s Google reviews.
  • YouTube: videos embedded on some pages. If you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete the cookies stored on your device through your browser settings. The steps vary by browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics measurement specifically by installing the opt-out add-on that Google provides for the most common browsers.

If you browse in private or incognito mode, cookies are deleted when you close the window.

You can review the choice you made about this site’s analytics cookies at any time, either to accept them or to withdraw your consent:

6. What happens if you disable cookies

The site will keep working: you will be able to read every page and send the contact form. The only differences are that your chosen language will not be remembered between visits and your activity will not be counted in the usage statistics.

7. Updates to this policy

This policy may change if the cookies we use or the applicable legislation change. We recommend reviewing it from time to time. For any question about our use of cookies, write to info@cuadrovidrio.es.

You may also wish to read our Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
