Porch enclosures in Madrid
Open your porch to the garden and explore how to enclose the sides or provide an overhead cover.
We assess your space before preparing a proposal.
Your porch, connected to the outdoors
A porch can be where you have breakfast overlooking the garden or gather with family and friends. To use it in more ways, first decide whether you need side glazing, an overhead cover or both.
- If it already has a roof: glass curtains or a folding system may allow the sides to open.
- If it is open overhead: we can assess a glass roof or pergola according to the light and use you want.
- If it overlooks the garden: we assess the glass arrangement to retain a visual connection and a practical opening.

What our customers say
Three ways to make more of your porch
Enclose the sides
We assess glass panels that can open according to the porch configuration.
Choose an overhead cover
A fixed or retractable roof and a pergola meet different needs for light and opening.
Keep the garden close
The transparency of the glass and the way the panels gather help retain a connection with the outdoors.
Does it already have a roof or need a cover?
Porch with an existing roof. If the structure and its supports allow it, we can assess glass curtains or folding enclosures for the sides. The opening arrangement is chosen according to the opening and space to gather the panels.
Porch open overhead. A fixed or retractable glass roof or a bioclimatic pergola may be considered for the overhead area. Each option requires checks of its supports and drainage.
What we review before making a proposal
- The condition of the existing roof and possible fixing points.
- Opening widths, access and space to gather the panels.
- Slope and water drainage if a new roof is proposed.
- Applicable residents’ association rules and municipal requirements.
Compatibility between the roof and side panels is checked for each structure. The visit helps us define which parts of the porch to address and with which systems.

Frequently asked questions about porches
Can just the sides be enclosed?
This may be an option if the existing roof and supports are suitable. The opening and fixings are reviewed during the assessment.
What if the porch has no roof?
We can assess a fixed or retractable glass roof, or a pergola. The choice depends on the intended use, supports and water drainage.
Can a pergola be combined with glass side panels?
The combination must be assessed for each structure; we do not assume compatibility without reviewing fixings and drainage.
Do I need approval to enclose a porch?
This depends on the property, residents’ association and municipality. Check the applicable requirements before commissioning the work.
